Job Description
An F&R (Forecasting & Replenishment) Business Consultant will work in various customer projects. This includes conducting F&R related analysis from presales phase to supporting implementation projects for the customer.
An F&R Business Consultant should have experience in the following business process areas: Demand Forecasting, Inventory Planning, Replenishment and Allocation.
Your main responsibilities will be:
• Provide business consultancy services to customers in the F&R optimization area;
• Support pre-sales activities, e.g. demos or addressing business/functional requirements sections in RFI/RFP;
• Provide support to implementation projects looking into existing business processes and giving recommendations for how to achieve benefits and client success;
• Lead and prepare design sessions;
• Monitor the existing business practices, make recommendations on how the departments can become more productive and successful;
• Produce design documents that bring together best practices, business uniqueness, and fine-tunned solution configurations;
• Be seen by the customer as the go-to person for any business topic related;
• Provide QA throughout the implementation phases, making sure business requirements are addressed and business benefits are achieved;
• Be one of the key supporters of business analysts and solution configurators in the projects;
• Effectively communicate progress and manage project risks and issues to/with project manager;
• Mentor junior resources, supporting them in developing F&R business knowledge and guiding them in their career growth;
Requirements
• Ability to understand F&R Optimization best practices, strategies and trends;
• Ability to walkthrough F&R Optimization solutions (e.g. demand forecasting, inventory planning, replenishment & allocation) and explain the process flows within those solutions;
• Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders at various levels in the organization;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strong communication skills, and be adaptable to change;
• Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders, influence and provide advice and guidance;
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills;
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new things;
• Able to identify, design and deliver end-to-end design documents and business processes;
• Work experience (>3 years) in F&R Optimization consulting, implementing F&R solutions in Retail customers;
• Preferable a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field;
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) - mandatory;
• Availability to travel;
